(June 2023) On 16 June we attended the closing event of the Architecture Fringe 2023 Summer Programme which presented A Fragile Correspondence – Scotland + Venice presentation by the Architecture Fringe, -ism magazine, and /other as a collateral event for the 18th International Architecture Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia.
Held in the Fruitmarket Gallery events space, it was a packed house, full of buzz and great conversations. The event was chaired by Amanda Catto, Head of Visual Arts, Creative Scotland and Chair of the Scotland + Venice partnership.
The team presented the project around themes explored in the exhibition. The discussion that followed got to the heart of exploring what we should do before committing to projects or builds and also explored the idea that we should be rethinking architecture education. Congratulations to the Architecture Fringe for another successful series of events!
