Workshop - Build a Street Together: Stewards
Workshop - Build a Street Together: Stewards
Join the last workshop to create a fictional street for the exhibition - explore how people, nature and systems will steward the future.
Find out more hereIn this activity, you will co-create a vision of a future street in the year 2045, through three rounds of imagining and building
1 ⟶ Founders
2 ⟶ Innovators
3 ⟶ Stewards
Imagine how you might share space, how those spaces evolve, and how they are cared for over time.
This is workshop 3 of 3, which will build on the founders' vision and innovators' additions for the street using collage, drawing, or writing.
You will decide how this street is looked after by people, by systems, by nature
- How do you keep these spaces thriving?
- Who is responsible for care and upkeep?
- How does the street respond to change or challenge (climate, social needs)?
Add final layers to the street including signs of care, connection, and resilience.
Model materials will be provided, including glue, scissors, paper, pens, and more. Please note that young people under the age of 16 should be accompanied by their legal guardian.
The street will be on display daily as part of the interactive exhibition and will be added to on Wednesday and Thursday.
