The Local Authority Urban Design Forum creates a space for networking for practitioners involved in urban design. The forum allows them to meet regularly, to share practice and discuss common issues. We do this by:
- Building a supportive network of practitioners
- Providing opportunities to gather and share learning and experience around particular design issues
- Gathering resources that everyone can benefit from.
Who is it for?
Members of the Local Authority Urban Design Forum network include colleagues from planning, architecture, urban design, transport, inclusive design, housing and landscape professions. The Forum aims to get participants from across the country.
How we can help?
The Forum meets twice a year. The members of the Forum set the themes. Members of the group chair the meetings. A&DS supports the Forum by capturing and sharing the learning from the events. A&DS also helps to spread the word about the group.
