The 2012 annual Design Skills Symposium took place in Ayr and focused on better briefing for building and settlements.

The event drew over 100 delegates from different professional backgrounds to explore the issues through a series of presentations and workshops facilitated by experts from the Academy of Architecture Amsterdam, led by Rogier Van Den Berg, and Urban Initiatives, led by Conor Moloney.

After the event A+DS conducted a short SurveyMonkey of the delegates and the feedback has been very positive with all those surveyed saying that the event would have a positive impact on their practice.

There were a number of comments about the high quality of the speakers so we are pleased to make available the audio from these presentations which can be played alongside the visual slides below.

We will consider all the feedback carefully in order to shape and improve future events.
