Cedric Price : Think the Unthinkable

To mark the opening of the Cedric Price: Think the Unthinkable exhibition on 31st March, the University of Strathclyde held a panel discussion on the relevance of Price's thinking in modern architecture and practice.
Members of the discussion panel were as follows (shown left to right):
Dr Barnabas Calder: historian of british post-war architecture, University of Strathclyde lecturer, and curator of the Cedric Price: Think the Unthinkable exhibition.
Tim Abrahams: architecture critic and author, associate editor of Blueprint magazine.
Stephen Mullin: architect and housing consultant who worked with Cedric Price between 1964-1970
Alan Pert: professor at the University of Strathclyde and director of NORD architects, designers of the Cedric Price: Think the Unthinkable exhibition.
Dr Jonathan Charley: lecturer at University of Strathclyde and chair for the discussion.
The scene was set for the discussion by a brief introduction to Cedric Price from Dr Barnabas Calder, curator of the exhibition. Providing some clues as to what to expect from the exhibition, this introduction explains the context in which Price worked, the nature of society at the time, and the motives behind his approach to the built environment. The video below offers the opportunity to hear this introduction accompanied with various images featured in the exhibition.
