In order to explore the potential improvements and changes that can be applied to a Victorian school building, James Gillespie’s High School in Edinburgh has been the subject of a number of design proposals.
The Re:design Option explores the challenges of different educational building types, and looks at how designers can help reveal the hidden potential of our existing schools. This example looks at the redesign of a Victorian building. The program also looked at three other case studies.
