Orkidstudio is dedicated to exploring and developing the connection between architecture and humanitarian aid. The work of Orkidstudio seeks to help young people and communities worldwide, inspiring a sense of pride and ambition, through innovative and sustainable design.
James Mitchell, Founding Director, will talk about working in environments where creativity and innovative design rank far below basic needs and discuss how to readdress this balance.
James is a lecturer and studio tutor at the Mackintosh School of Architecture, Glasgow.
