The Scottish Civic Trust is accepting nominations for buildings, places, spaces and people for the My Place Awards 2016

The My Place Awards will recognise projects that have had a positive impact in a local neighbourhood and have delivered positive benefits to that community.  Also, the Civic Champion Award will be presented to a person who has made an outstanding contribution to their local heritage and/or civic society.

The Scottish Civic Trust My Place Awards are unique in Scotland in that they are nominated by local communities. They are not ‘industry’ awards.

The Awards are supported by the Scottish Government.

For more information, including entry forms, guidance and galleries of past entries visit www.myplaceawards.org.uk/

Nominations can be made by:

Civic societies and other local groups affiliated to the Scottish Civic Trust

Other community-based voluntary groups

THE DEADLINE FOR NOMINATIONS IS 31 JANUARY 2016
