Thinking differently about how we source and use materials in manufacturing and construction can open up new markets and opportunities for businesses to grow. Scotland has an impressive capability in the area of advanced materials and there is potential for almost every sector to get involved from the design and use of new and lower carbon construction materials, to finding new uses for waste as a raw material in manufacturing.
