Sam Cassels was recently invited to speak at the ‘Improving Scotland’s Public Sector Estate’ conference in Edinburgh. At this event, Sam highlighted the possibilities and opportunities to create places for learning by looking at the whole estate beyond the school gates.

Local Authorities in Scotland are increasingly embracing a collaborative approach to providing better education by exploiting all the opportunities for learning that communities have to offer. What that means on the ground is a pragmatic approach, which brings together those who provide our services and those who manage our assets.
