Representatives of Architecture and Design Scotland have taken part in an event in Glasgow to mark the 60th anniversary of the NHS.
A&DS took part in lectures on Health Masterplanning, Healing Environments and Greener Health Greener Care.
The work of A&DS to support the improvement of the NHS Scotland’s estate was recognised by the Cabinet Secretary for Health and Well-being Nicola Sturgeon MSP. In her key-note address at the event she said that:
I`m pleased to note that each NHS Board has now appointed a design champion and with the support offered by Health Facilities Scotland and Architecture and Design Scotland we can provide environments that support health and well-being of and provide positive additions to the communities we serve.
