A&DS welcomes the recent Scottish Parliament debate on the natural and built environment.

Sebastian Tombs, Chief Executive of Architecture + Design Scotland (A&DS), has welcomed the recent Scottish Parliament debate on the natural and built environment.

Speaking after the debate Sebastian said

This debate on the natural and built environment was a very welcome one and demonstrated a clear depth of knowledge and passion for the subject across the political spectrum.

Various speakers noted the importance of urban regeneration efforts and strong focus on its interaction with the natural environment. I am particularly pleased that in the debate the importance of A&DS’s Enabling work in regeneration projects was recognised. Our Enabling staff here in Edinburgh, along with our individual enablers are doing tremendous work across the country to facilitate good design for our communities.
