In light of the current situation regarding the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus), I would like to provide you with an update on Architecture & Design Scotland’s work and the changes that we are having to make.
Firstly, I would like to take this opportunity to reassure you that our team is still on hand and ready to support you. Team members are continuing to work as far as possible while prioritising the health and wellbeing of our staff and those we work with. We have established a business continuity plan which will allow us to maintain support to those we work with in the likely event that social-distancing measures increase.
As part of this, we have taken the decision to close our offices in Glasgow and Edinburgh and ask our staff to work from home until further notice. Our staff are well-equipped for remote working and wherever possible will work ensure that planned work is completed and we continue to meet via Skype/similar.
Our management team is monitoring the Scottish and UK government advice. We are planning for the potential impacts on our service delivery and, most importantly, to minimise the risk that the virus presents to our colleagues, partners and the wider community. Please do not hesitate to get in touch with our team; you will most easily get hold of us by emailing us at email@example.com.
Materials Library and exhibitions at The Lighthouse: The Lighthouse in Glasgow is now closed to the public. That means that there is no access to our Timber Awards Exhibition or the Materials Library for the time being. However you can access the Materials Library digital resource here.
We will, of course, update you with any additional, relevant information as necessary. I would also like to ask for your patience over the next few days as we shift into a new way of working. For more information, please keep visiting our website.
Thank you for your understanding, and I hope that you stay safe and well.
