The focus of this series is on supporting better place quality through considering location and place priorities for new housing led developments.
This service will support a small number of selected Local Authorities to develop spatial plans for places which prioritise decarbonisation.
Pre-Design Support for Housing: working with local authorities and housing associations at the very start of the process of developing homes.
The Public Sector Client Forum facilitates discussion across the public sector on shared issues, experience and good practice.
The Tests of Change project aims to create excellent teaching and learning environments using Space Hacks and testing solutions in a learning space.
Making Places: We are currently undertaking a pilot project to provide support for community placemaking projects across Scotland.
Local Design Review panels seek to add to advice offered by local authorities, creating a platform for a variety of local voices.
We provide design advice for public investment projects. We do this to help ensure that projects are driven by quality design.
We work with developers and Local Authorities to achieve good design and placemaking in new housing proposals.
