Project: This extension to Thurso College provides a base for the Environmental Research Institute. It used a variety of Timber construction technologies. The choice of materials were quicker to erect than the usual steel and concrete structures used in commercial buildings, saving six weeks on the build programme.

Materials Featured: Glu-lam, Cross Lamited Timber (CLT), Timber I beams, Scottish Larch Cladding, Scots Pine
