30% - New House Design in Small Towns and Rural Areas
30 percent documentThis booklet formed part of a touring exhibition on rural housing.  The exhibition's title is based on the statistic that 30% of Scotland's population live in settlements of less than 10,000; of which 18% are in those of less than 3,000.  The publication - which features new house designs by 15 architects throughout Scotland - aims to demonstrate how designers can meet the challenge of the rural context, responding to issues such as siting, design, form, character, materials and details. Click to download>
