A+DS (Architecture and Design Scotland), Stirling Council and the British Council hosted an ‘Urban Ideas Bakery’ in Stirling on October 25th – 27th this year.
Over the course of the three days the ‘bakers’ worked together to find solutions to some of the challenges facing Stirling and plan their delivery. The Bakers included 8 contributors from across Europe who have experience from many different backgrounds including architecture, community consultation, communication, urban planning, design and research yet all with experience touching on social innovation. Working with local placemakers they brought external perspectives, expertise and new ideas.
Below is a short video that gets the perspective of 5 of the participating bakers on their views of Stirling, the process and making places.
