The website is designed to engage, inform and illuminate on all aspects of Scottish architecture and the built environment, across as wide an audience range as possible - from students and young people taking part in related workshops to professionals looking for lively and up-to-date news and debate.

Scottisharchitecture.com offers an important portal to information relating to projects delivered by the ACCESS to Architecture programme. The website also provides:

  • diary details of forthcoming events around Scotland;

Venice Takeaway: Ideas to Change British Architecture
British Pavilion at the 13th Venice Architecture Biennale

In January the British Council will launch an open call for proposals for the British Pavilion at the 13th Venice Architecture Biennale. There will be a series of events around the UK which are an opportunity for a discussion about the brief. Speakers will include the curators of the pavilion, as well as members of the advisory panel.
