Architecture + Design Scotland are pleased to announce The Cedric Price: Think the Unthinkable exhibition, which was shown in The Lighthouse, Glasgow March - September 2011, will be at the Bartlett School of Architecture , University College London from 15 February until 2 March.
A half-day symposium will be held on 22 February 2-5pm to discuss the ideas and influence of Cedric Price. The symposium is being organised by Professor Murray Fraser (UCL Bartlett School of Architecture). The main speakers will be the exhibitions curator Dr Barnabas Calder (Strathclyde University) and Samantha Hardingham (Architectural Association, who is currently writing a definitive book on Price’s work). A round-table discussion will also be held with invited contributions from Dr Kester Rattenbury (Westminster University), Professor Stephen Gage (UCL Bartlett) and Ruairi Glynn (UCL Bartlett).
