The Enabling Panel consists of experienced and respected building professionals including; architects, urban designers, planners, landscape architects, project managers, engineers, quantity surveyors, academics, and people working as clients for capital projects. Together they represent a considerable resource of expertise available to A+DS in its enabling work programme.
Enablers help agencies and clients make the best decisions; building their confidence and capacity to recognise the value of a well designed environment and to deliver it on the ground. Enabling explores key design issues with stakeholders and offers hands-on, impartial, tailored advice to clients at an early stage.
A full list of enablers can be seen on our enabling biographies page

Notes:
1. Architecture and Design Scotland (A+DS) is a non departmental public body, established by the
Scottish Executive in April 2005 as the national champion for good architecture, design and
planning in the built environment. We have a wide and proactive role in advocating the benefits of
good design through Review, Enabling, Research and Promotion activities.
